If it is at all possible, I am even more sore than yesterday. In my infinite wisdom and feeling a bit giddy from the sunshine, I decided that I would walk home from work even though my muscles ached from the weekend. Its really a lovely walk except for the torturous uphill climb out of the river valley. My calves will never be the same. Yes, I'm going to do it again today. The sun is shining and the world is bright and lovely. Last night Max, Turbo, Duke and I enjoyed the musical stylings of the choir and orff performances at the Victoria School of Performing Arts. I have lovely pictures which I will post under photostories some time this week. Aiden sang, danced and played. It was lovely. Then we went out for a drink at E&C. oops ... what? oh my god ... hockey. Now, if I had known that there was a game last night (I know I live under a rock but frankly I have no interest in hockey - sacralige for Alberta but whatever) I would have went to the Savoy but Turbo was happy and we ran into Roo which was lovely and Duke and I endured the game and enjoyed a lovely meal and drinks so it was fine.
Turbo also provided me with zils and a new veil for bellydancing. Yah! I can't wait to start working with the zils and the veil is a lovely shade of pink. heh heh. I'm thinking of making a pink and blue costume for the next performance or pink and red 'cause done right it the colours could work I'm thinking. Turbo rocks and I'm so very glad that I met her as she is a most amazing friend and I am lucky to have her in my life. Yup.
