Ah, the lush of a good martini

I had my eyebrows waxed and altered the shape of my face. I shopped and purchased some lovely new clothes. I sat in Nikita's drinking martini's for hours on end and finished reading: Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. Highly recommend, so very very good and now I must run out and buy his latest book, Mirror Mirror. Beyond that I sat and wrote and drank and wrote and drank until Duke was finished with the radio play rehearsal. It was a wonderful place to write and drink and smoke, ah Nikita's. I sat in the window with the light of the lamp on the ledge dripping light over my table, watching the cold snow of Rice Howard Way cobbled stoned bundled people. The conversation danced around the edges of my mind and the sangria fuzzied the glow of faces. It was nice to be with myself and ramsack my mind without the muddied filter of conversation.I am a bit hung over I think but at least I look good today ;-)
